My professional life started immediately after graduating high school when I began working as a web developer and system administrator for a small business in Northeast Ohio. While working full-time, I began to pursue an undergraduate degree at Youngstown State University in 2009. I started as a computer science major but quickly discovered my love for mathematics, changed my major, and never looked back. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Youngstown State University in 2013.
I attended graduate school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2013-2019, where I met my future wife, made lifelong friends, and … oh yeah … earned a Master of Science in Mathematics in 2015 and a PhD in Mathematics in 2019 under the advisement of Allan Donsig.
I became a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Fall 2019, where I have some amazing colleagues (link, link, link) and students.
I live with my wife and our FOUR cats 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈 in Prescott, AZ. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, communing with nature, and writing music.
